Information About Minoxidil Receding Hairline

Minoxidil For Receding Hairline - Does It Work?

If you are suffering from hair loss, receding hairline or losing hair because of age or male pattern baldness then one of the first things you need to get is a minoxidil product. They are approved and proven by the FDA or Food and Drug Administration to work when you are losing hair. If you want to say goodbye to receding hairline, baldness, hair loss and thinning hair then you must get a minoxidil product. These products appeared in magazines, new york times, 10 o' clock news, etc, all claiming that minoxidil does in fact regrow hair if you are losing hair.

Losing hair can be devastating to your self confidence. So why make it harder on yourself? Stop spending money on ebooks and books claiming to be able to stop and regrow hair. They most likely do not work. Remember, minoxidil products are approved by the government to stop hair loss and regrow hair.

When I tried Minoxidil, it did help me stop my hair loss. It works but how effective it is varies from person to person. Why I mean is that it may work very well for some, it may work a little bit for others and it may also not work for some people. For me, I did see some hair growth.

Different Brands Of Minoxidil For Receding Hair Line

This is a list of minoxidil products. I haven't tried them all. I just want to give people more information so they can make a logical or thought out purchase. Minoxidil is very popular and well known since it is FDA approved. There are lots of companies making minoxidil products due to these reasons. Here are some of them.

1. Men's Premium Minoxidil 15% & Azelaic Acid 5% DHT Inhibitor. Retinol Enhanced - This is a very concentrated minoxidil product with 15% concentration plus it also has retinol. From what I heard, retinol allows minoxidil to be absorbed by the skin a lot easier although I really can't find any scientific experiments or scientific papers about it.

2. Rogaine for Men Hair Regrowth Treatment, Easy-to-Use Foam, 2.11 Ounce, (3 month supply) - rogaine is is very popular. It is my first minoxidil product. Rogaine has been around for some time. They have pretty good customer service and they been in the hair loss business for many years.

3. DS Laboratories Spectral DNC Topical Hair Loss Treatement, 60-gram Bottle - Spectral DNC is becoming popular. It is also a very good minoxidil product from a very reputable company. Although the price is a little bit higher.

4. Kirkland Minoxidil 5% Extra Strength Hair Regrowth for Men, 6 Month Supply - The most cheapest or inexpensive brand of minoxidil that I found. So if you are looking for value or lower price tag, this is a good brand to buy.

Dangers Of Minoxidil Products For Receding Hairline

There are dangers to using Minoxidil however. While it is clinically proven to stop hair loss and regrow hair, it also has a drawback. Minoxidil will often make you lose more hair in the beginning but the companies producing minoxidil products claim that this is natural. They claim that in time, minoxidil will regrow the hair that you lose in the beginning. There are people that say this is correct and that minoxidil products did regrow the hair they lost in the beginning but there are also people who says that minoxidil products made them lose more hair rather than help them. For me, it did made me lose more hair but it also help me regrow a lot of hair.

Important Safety Information About Minoxidil

You should not use Minoxidil if you have low blood pressure or are taking blood pressure lowering medications. People with heart failure or significant coronary heart disease should avoid Minoxidil because of these side effects. The most common side effects are redness and irritation of the scalp.

Pregnancy: Minoxidil should not be used in pregnancy and by nursing women. IF YOU EXPERIENCE RAPID HEART BEAT, DIZZINESS OR SHORTNESS OF BREATH DISCONTINUE THE USE OF Minoxidil AND SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
