Hair Loss and Vitamin B

In today's age, hair loss is a very common problem encountered by most people. Unless you are one of those lucky few who have inherited healthy thick hair, you should be maintaining your hair with lots of care. The reasons for hair loss of course are varied depending on lifestyles and different situations pertaining to different people. One often sees that lack of proper nutrition, vitamin deficiencies, stress, menstrual problems in women, changing weather conditions, emotional upheavals, severe illness and side effects of medicines are conditions that lead to hair loss.

Hair Loss and Vitamin B

Most dermatologists are of the opinion that in general hair loss is a result of vitamin deficiencies in the body. This could be any vitamin which has special effect on the hair. Vitamins like C, A, E are important for the hair growth apart from the most important vitamin B.

The vitamin B is one of the most important ingredients that makes your hair healthy and promotes hair growth too. The human body generally takes in these vitamins from the food that we consume in a natural process. But there are times however, when this is not enough. The case may also be that the body is not capable of taking in these vitamins from food. At such times the body needs supplements from outside in the form of vitamin supplements.

Hair loss and vitamin B supplements go hand in hand. The importance of consuming Vitamin B in case of hair loss is an established fact today. Hair loss and Vitamin B are inevitably linked because there have been many cases of remarkable improvement in the growth of hair after the intake of vitamin B. The consumption of Vitamin B in the form of tablets or syrups till the health of the hair has been restored is advised to many patients by dermatologists.

In case you are suffering from hair damage or thinning hair, it is best to use a complete B vitamin supplement such as the B100's with the advice of your doctor. You can consume the B vitamins either in liquid or capsule form. The absorption in the body might be faster, in case of syrups though. Most of us need the B vitamins every day. The body takes in the vitamin Bs necessary for betterment and throws out whatever is unnecessary.

Some of the B vitamins associated with hair loss are:

#Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid)
#Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid)
#Vitamin B1 (Thiamin)
#Vitamin B12 (Cobalt)
#Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
#Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)

You could have a full course of B-complex tablets which have a rich variety of B vitamins necessary for compensating for hair loss. These vitamins help in the nourishment of hair, increasing the better blood circulation in the scalp. In case of acute hair loss, vitamin B tablets play a large role in restoring the good health of your hair.

Precautionary steps might be taken by those who have a problem of losing hair. Include vitamin B in your food to see better results on your hair. Food which is rich in vitamin B are, Soy beans, Peas, Carrots, Beans, Nuts, Eggs, Cauliflower, etc.

Vitamin B is essential because it facilitates the production of red blood cells which transports oxygen to the various parts of the body as well as the hair. A deficiency of Vitamin B leads to insufficient oxygen supply to the hair. This can result in hair and scalp problems. A proper and well balanced dosage of all the B vitamins could be crucial for solving problems related to hair loss.
